Cancellation Policy for All Service
All Service cancellations require a minimum of 4 hour advanced notice PRIOR to scheduled pick-up time for 100% refund; less than 4 hours, the full fare will be charged.
To cancel, (update or change), reservations made by phone, it must be called in to our office within the required advanced notice. Otherwise, the full fare will be charged.
To cancel reservations made online: Within the required advance notice, you may cancel online by clicking here. Please call us for any change/update requests within the required timeframe.
Please note: ALL no-shows, non-cancellations and cancellations not following these procedures will be charged full fare. Cancellations, update and/or change request must be phoned in to the office and any cancellation made by e-mail will not be accepted unless we send back a confirmation. Please contact us at 617-268-4110 if you require further assistance.
* Very important: You must receive a confirmation number from us that confirms you made the reservation (online or by phone). If you did not receive one … you did not make a reservation. Please call our office to book and confirm your reservation at 617-268-4110.

CAR SEATS / BOOSTER SEATS – Unfortunately we do not provide child safety seats. Passengers must provide and install the proper safety equipment required under Massachusetts lawhttp://www.dmv.org/ma-massachusetts/safety-laws.php#MA-Child-Car-Seat-Laws for their child.
LUGGAGE - A Luggage tag must be affixed to each piece of luggage clearly indicating the name and address of the owner. As an added precaution, the owner’s name and complete permanent address should be contained INSIDE each piece of baggage. Each passenger is limited to TWO pieces of luggage and ONE carry on. Excess luggage fee is $6.00 (I.e. foot locker, boxed bicycle, computer box or large container).
ANIMALS - All Animals must be caged: $20 per cage.
HOLIDAYS/NO SERVICE/SERVICE SUSPENSION - There will be NO SHUTTLE SERVICE on the following days: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and St Patrick’s Day Parade. There may be NO SERVICE or a SERVICE SUSPENSION on days due to environmental or man made circumstances beyond our control. Southie Shuttle shall not be held responsible for no service days or suspensions of service due to conditions beyond our control.
SCHEDULES - Every effort will be made to operate according to published schedules. Circumstances sometimes develop beyond our control such as weather or traffic delays and accordingly Southie Shuttle shall not be held responsible for errors and timetables, inconvenience or damage resulting from delayed shuttles. For a healthier environment, there will be No Smoking while traveling with us thank you.
LOST ITEMS – Southie Shuttle is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged articles. If you think you may have forgotten something in one of our vehicles please call our office at 617-268-4110 to see if it has been returned and to arrange pick up.
It is the responsibility of the passenger/client to read, become familiar with and understand the information indicated on the reservation slip regarding WHERE TO MEET DRIVERS, DELAYS, and the full TERMS and CONDITIONS of the reservation. These Terms and Conditions are legally binding upon the passenger/client.
The reservation confirmation slip constitutes the sole contract between the individual passenger/client named on the reservation confirmation slip and Southie Shuttle. Southie Shuttle does not accept any responsibility for any actions of the passenger/client. Southie Shuttle’s liability for failure to perform or for any delay in performance is limited to refunding to the passenger/client any payment received for the involved service, including a refund of any payment to secure the reservation. The transportation provided is subject to these written terms. It is the sole responsibility of client to make a reservation for pick-up at a time far enough in advance of the desired time of arrival at the destination in order to allow for any such delays or problems. Southie Shuttle reserves the right to cancel service when, in its sole discretion, the weather creates conditions prohibiting safe travel. In addition, no service will be provided when the roads are closed due to a snow emergency or other emergency situations. Southie Shuttle agrees to issue confirmations for and provide for such transportation service between points listed in this document only at times listed for the fee listed. Southie Shuttle accepts no responsibility to either wait for passengers, search for passengers or provide any other extraordinary means of reaching passengers in order to transport them, other than to wait no longer than fifteen minutes from the designated departure only.
